going through


Going back through some older images and found this one of a pair of trumpeter swans. They were in the Red Rocks National Wildlife Refuge in southern Montana. Their heads are red from feeding on the bottom of the lakes there. Here is a link to more information on Red Rocks NWR:

The smaller bird in the image is a widgeon.
