During our recent trip through Texas during hunting season we were lucky to see this nice white-tailed buck trotting through a low area filled with water. An overcast day in the wildlife refuge we were visiting this buck and several other deer were in the no-hunting area of the refuge. There were several hunters we had seen in the area of the refuge where hunting season was open. We hoped that this nice buck was smart enough to stay in the no-hunting area.
