A friend suggested that when we leave Estes Park, Colorado we stop by Brainard Lake. Wonderful surprise! We were able to get a campsite in the wooded area at the Pawnee campground for a night. Thank you Cathie!

We took a hike of a bit over a quarter mile to Long lake after getting reports of a large bull moose there. We were pleased and surprised to find this was true. He was an excellent specimen and subject.
