Wyoming wildlife and scenes

Traveled across much of Wyoming the last two days. Stopped at Hutton Lake National Wildlife Reserve in southern Wyoming near Laramie for lunch. Discovered some lakes with a pair of American Avocets and several prairie dog villages. We also discovered a muskrat having lunch on one of the lakes. Below are a few images including a windmill and one of which we hopes shows the vastness of the Wyoming prairie.

I have really enjoyed all of the photos during your trek! I especially like the windmill in this group. My mother grew up in Western Kansas. I have memories of Burma Shave, Windmills, and Oil rigs!

I like the two shots with the windmill. I think I pick the one with the most space. Both good. Each one tells a different story.

Most interesting. How do you know what animals/birds you are photographing? Thanks again, Sharon

HI Larry, great images. We just got back from Wyoming, we were on a 10 day motorcycle trip. Got some landscape shots but not as many as in the past. We did find some ospreys around the Grand Teton Park entrance and we had fun with them for a while.

    Have great trip.

    Louie
