Campsite Visitors

This morning we were delighted to see these visitors very close to our campsite. We were close to Woodland Park, Colorado.

This fawn seemed to be wondering where its mother might have wandered off to?

The fawn was meandering around the woods, it appeared to be looking everywhere. It was looking around in every direction.

Then it appeared to be looking at me, wondering why I wasn’t helping perhaps?

Striding along with what appears a purposeful stride it appears the fawn has spotted a familiar form.

Ahh, safe again under the watchful eye of its doe!
