We are certainly enjoying the cooler weather here in Washington. Last night we camped near the White river at the White River Campground.
This morning we drove up to the Sunrise lookout parking area. Mount Rainier was mostly covered by clouds as it has been for the last couple of days.
After a brief time in the lookout parking area we decided to go on up to the Sunrise Visitor Center. Just as we arrived the clouds parted and a good portion of Mount Rainier was viewable.
While we were at the visitor center I noticed some wild flowers blooming. Several Indian paintbrush were in bloom and some other wild flowers I was not familiar with.
We had a very relaxing morning and look forward to more of our travels.
