Hello faithful followers,
We departed home last Saturday. Drove to Lincoln, Nebraska to visit relatives. Then headed on West, trying to find some cooler weather.
Two days later we were in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska. While there we visited the Scotts Bluff national monument. Our first visit here and a big shout out to a friend of ours that recommended we come through that area.
The national monument had some very interesting exhibits and displays. Thankfully we are not traveling the way the pioneers did. Several trails for the westward travellers came through here. The Oregon Trail, mormon trail, pony express and a couple other trails.
We currently are in Casper, Wyoming. Probably heading to Dubois, Wyoming to do a little exploring there.
