A different destination

We left our campground on Grand Mesa early this morning to head down to Clifton, Colorado to obtain a Starbucks and other necessary groceries and supplies. As the temperature was very moderate we decided to utilize several of the roadside pullouts to obtain some images to share with our viewers. We did something we usually do not, we took several images of the same view. We hope you enjoy them.

This Mesa with the plumes of coarse and fine gravel
was very close to the town of Clifton, Colorado
This may be a view of the same Mesa from a different vantage point
and a much longer lens.
Another interesting formation along the
drive back to Grand Mesa
A very wide view of a lot of gravel and sand.
Finally we are out of the high desert and
into the river gorges which lead us to higher elevation.
More of the scenery along Colorado 65 hiway.
Scenic rock views along the road.
Grand Mesa is on the left of this image.
The high desert valley is where we had been.
We are about two thirds of the way to our campground.
This image is from the same pullout as the previous.
A beautiful view, would you agree?
